Hill Voice, 22 August 2020, Khagrachari: Army-backed Reformist terrorists have allegedly snatched motorcycle of a Jumma youth in Dighinala upazila of Khagrachhari district and demanded Tk. 1 lakh as extortion.
The name of the victim was Sureswar Chakma (18), son of Anil Jiban Chakma. His home is in Nangalmara village of Baghaihat in Sajek union.
According to sources, on 21 August 2020 Friday Sureswar Chakma went to Dighinala with a passenger from Sajek. On the way home after unloading the passengers, the army-backed terrorists namely Janapriya Chakma and Pradip Chakma forcibly snatched the motorcycle with the keys from him at bus terminal area of Dighinala. The terrorists later released him but did not return the motorcycle.
It is learnt that the army-backed Reformist terrorists asked him to meet with them in Dighinala along with Tk. 1 lakh and his guardians today 22 August, Saturday.
