Garo girl goes missing for 6 days in Phulbaria

Hill Voice, 22 August 2020, Mymensingh: A Garo girl named Dina Chambugang (17) of Hatileit village in Rangamatia union of Fulbaria upazila of Mymensingh district has went missing. No trace has been found even after 6 days of disappearance since 15 August 2020 Saturday.

According to family sources, the missing Dina Chambugang left home at around 9.30 am on August 15 to attend a function at the college. No further traces have been found since then. Dina is a student of Kesharganj Degree College. Meanwhile, Din’s father filed a general diary with Fulbaria police station on 17 August.

Din’s elder brother Imtiaz Chambugang said, “My younger sister left home on 15 August to go to college. We have talked to college teachers about this. Teachers said they did not invite any students to the 15 August event.”

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Fulbaria police station Azizur Rahman said police were making every effort to rescue the girl. We have already been able to identify the girl’s location.
