Hill Voice, 21 September 2019, Saturday, Khagrachari: Today, an indigenous man named Ratan Tripura (25) was arrested in connection with rape of an indigenous woman (23) at Joutho Khamararea under Mahalchhari Upazila in Khagrachhari hill district of CHT.
The Officer-in-charge of Mahalchhari Police Station, Nure Alam Fakir informed that the incident occurred on Friday evening of September 20, 2019, when the perpetrator found the victim alone at home.
On 21 September morning, a case was filed against Ratan Tripura and the perpetrator was arrested by the police. The victim was sent to Khagrachari Sadar Hospital for medical test.
