Hill Voice, 28 November 2023, Special Report: It has been reported that 2 persons from Mohalchari upazila of Khagrachari hill district and 2 more from Ruma upazila from Bandarban hill district were allegedly abducted by Reformist and KNF terrorists respectively.
According to local source, a 7-member armed terrorist group led by Utpal Chakma of army backed Reformist raided the house of Mukul Chakma (40), son of- late Jamini Mohan Chakma and took him away by force on 24 November around 7 am. The victim is from Dadkupya of Kyanghat union in Mohalchari upazila under Khagrachari hill district.
On the same day, at 8 pm the terrorists allegedly picked up Anil Chakma (55), son of unknown, on the same village picking him up from his sleep. The both victims are the inhabitants of Dadkupya village, ward no. 9 of Kayanghat union.
On the other hand, on November 24 around 9.15 pm, KNF armed terrorists kidnapped two persons named Kasamong Marma and Usaching Marma from 11 Kilo Shairatang Para of Ruma Upazila under Bandarban hill district and took him away to Prongphu Para (village).
Local source said the KNF terrorists freed the victims after brutal beating around 10 pm on the same day.
