Hill Voice, 23 October 2019, Guwahati, Assam: Miss Enjebee Chakma, a 17-year old Chakma college girl, daughter of Alexander Chakma Abhay & Minati Chakma from Guwahati in Assam has been selected by Karate Association of India to participate in the XI World Karate Federation (WKF) Junior, Cadet & U21 World Championship held at Santiago in Chile from 23rd to 27th October 2019 subject to the participation in the said event at her own cost.
A letter issued by the president, Bharat Chandra Narah of United Karate-Do Association, Assam which is recognised by Department of Sports & Youth Welfare of Government of Assam; affiliated to Assam Olympic Association & Karate Association of India; requesting Miss Enjebee Chakma to confirm her participation and also submit her valid passport and other relevant documents.
Karate association of India has selected 39 members including referee, coach, head of the delegation etc. to participate this year where 29 members are players.
Miss Enjebee Chakma is an eleven-grade student of Cotton College and University school/college in Guwahati of Assam. She has been playing Karate for many years and achieved many medals/prizes in this event.
