Two Jummas shot dead by army-backed Reformists in Dighinala

Hill Voice, 28 April 2020, Khagrachari:  Two Jummas were reportedly shot dead by army-backed Reformist terrorists in the Dighinala area of ​​the Khagrachhari Hill District.

Sources reported that today on 28 April 2020 at around 9:00 am, an armed group of army-backed Reformist terrorists has reportedly killed two Jummas by gun-shots at Banchara area of Dighinala union of Dighinala upazila under Khagrachari Hill District.

It learnt that the victims were identified as Babu Chakma alias Rijang (35), son of Sushil Bhushan Chakma from Indra Moni Para and Sudip Chakma alias Bangallo (40), son of Birendra Mohan Chakma from Madhya Banchara of the upazila.

Locals confirmed that Babu Chakma is a UPDF activist and Sudip Chakma is an ordinary villager

According to local sources, at about 9:00 am, an armed group of Reformists numbering 7-8 arrived at the house of Sudip Chakma Bangallo by a pick-up of army.

As soon as arriving there, they fired indiscriminately surrounding the house. At this, above said two persons died by gun shots on the spot.

Soon after death of the two persons, the Reformist group again reportedly went back towards Dighinala Sadar by the army pick-up.
