Hill Voice, 6 February 2023, Bandarban: It has been reported that Laram Bawm and his son were abducted by KNF, known as Bawm Party, from their home at Bogalek in Ruma Upazila of Bandarban last Sunday (February 5) night.
However, it is not known for sure where they were taken and why they were abducted.
Meanwhile, the 17 Marma families of Ruma’s Mualpi Para who left the village and took shelter in Ruma Sadar due to the threat of Bawm Party, returned to their village on Sunday morning.
Upon their return to the village, Marma Karbari was reportedly called by armed terrorists of the Bawm Party and forced to give an interview against the army and in favor of the KNF.
Army intercepted a mini truck while carrying food items including rice, pulses, shoes, vegetables, plastic sheet for the Bawm Party near Keokradong village on Saturday afternoon.
