Hill Voice, 2 March 2020, Rangamati: On 2 March 2020 at around 10:00 am Mr. Rajib Kanti Chakma (31) resident of village of Digholchari of Aimachara union under Barkal upazila (sub-district) of Rangamati Hill District was kidnapped from Harikhyong Mukh area nearby Subalong bazaar by an armed group of Reformists. The armed group numbering 6 was led by Mr. Amar Dhan Chakma alias Ronel and Palash Chakma.
It is learnt that victim Rajib Kanti Chakma is an ordinary farmer. On that day, he was going to Rangamati town by a trawler boat to sell some undried turmeric. Reformist terrorists kidnapped him halting the boat when he reached Harikhyong area on the way.
