Hill Voice, 20 August 2020, Rangamati: It has been alleged that the army and army-backed Reformist terrorists carried out a joint search operation in the village of Baghachola of Subalong area of Barkal in the name of searching terrorists. During the operation, army members and Reformist terrorists surrounded various houses and vandalized three Jumma houses.
According to local sources, on 19 August 2020 at around 10:00 pm a group of Subalong Bazaar army camp and Reformist terrorists staying at Subalong bazaar of Subalong union of Barkal upazila under Rangamati district conducted this searching raid.
At that time, the army and Reformist terrorists surrounded and searched several houses in Baghachola village. During the search, they vandalized the houses and belongings of three Jumma villagers.
The houses vandalized are- 1. Kamnashish Talukder alias Babu (42), son of late Kalyan Talukder; 2. Pratik Talukdar (36), son of late Kanchan Talukdar and 3. Joy Chakma (36), son of late Golak Bihari Talukdar.
