Hill Voice, 7 April 2020, Baghaichari:  Milan Chakma, a tea shopkeeper of No. 10 Police Outpost area of ​​Baghaihat of Sajek union under Baghaichari upazila in Rangamati district was allegedly kidnapped by army-backed Reformist terrorists.

He was abducted from Marishya road in Baghaichari upazila headquarters on 6 April 2020 Monday.

The abducted Millan Chakma is a son of Shakti Chakma. His home was reported to be in Giriful area of ​​Perachara union of Khagrachari sadar upazila.

After the kidnapping, the terrorists demanded a ransom of BDT 600 thousand from victim’s family.

Terrorists have ordered victim’s family by paying a cash amount of BDT 200 thousand on 7 April today.

However, it was not known whether Milan Chakma was released till writing this report.
