2 Jumma villagers beaten by army and Mog Party terrorists in Rajasthali

Hill Voice, 11 December 2022, Rangamati: Two innocent Jumma villagers were allegedly beaten up by Bangladesh Army and army-backed Mog Party terrorists in Gaindya Union of Rajasthali Upazila under Rangamati Hill District.

The two victim villagers were identified as (1) Aunghlaching Marma (28), son of Monguching Marma, Village- Gaindya Para of Ward No. 9 of Gaindya Union and (2) Basing Marma alias Bala, son of Aunghlaching Marma, Village- Gaindya Para of Ward No. 9 of Gaindya Union. Aunghlaching Marma is known to be a day laborer by profession and Basing Marma is a student.

According to local sources, today 11 December 2022 around 7:00 am, a group of army personnel from Bangalhalia army camp of Rajasthali upazila along with a group of Mog Party terrorists led by Sabuj Marma went on a joint operation in Gaindya Union.

At one point in the joint operation, the army and members of the Mog Party terrorist group also went to the Krongsangoing Para Buddhist Temple in Gaindya Union.

Meanwhile, army personnel and Mog Party terrorists brutally beat Aunghlaching Marma and Basing Marma who were involved in temple work there. During the beating, army and Mog Party members asked ‘where are the terrorists here?’

After beating up the two persons and leaving them injured, the army and the Mog Party terrorists left the place.

It is reported that the local union council member Thuichingmong Marma called Aunghlaching Marma and Basing Marma there for the work of the Buddhist monastery.
