Hill Voice, 2 August 2024, Rangamati: The Army-backed Mog Party terrorists have allegedly beaten up and seriously injured an innocent Marma villager in Bangalhalia Union of Rajasthali Upazila in Rangamati district.

It is learnt that on July 29, 2024, the terrorists beat up Gulukya Marma (25), mother’s name Aprama Marma while he was going his house. Gulukya Marma is a resident of Dakbanglo Para village of Ward No. 6 in Bangalhalia Union.

Reportedly, the victim is receiving treatment at his house with serious injuries.

It is also reported that on August 1, the Mog Party terrorists again went to his house and threatened him to leave the village, otherwise to face dire consequences.

The victim Gulukya Marma was reportedly forced by the Mog party terrorists to meet the terrorists at their dens this morning (August 2). However, it is not known whether Gulukya Marma has returned home safely.

It should be noted that a terrorist group of 20-22 people led by the Mog Party terrorists Sabuj Marma (43) and Pranta Ghosh Roni (33) killed Johny Marma (35), son of Animong Marma after abduction, on July 26, 2024, at around 1 a.m. The victim was from Daluchari Para village of Raikhali Union area under ​​Kaptai Upazila in Rangamati district.

Earlier, 5 innocent Marma villagers resident of Bandarban district sadar were severely beaten by the Mog Party terrorists at Bangalhalia Sadar of Rajasthali Upazila in Rangamati district on July 5, 2024.

Locals alleged that the Mog Party terrorists are openly carrying out these terrorist activities staying near the Bangalhalia Bazar army camp but the army overlook the terrorist activities of Mog Party.
