Hill Voice, 18 April 2023, Bandarban: It has been reported that two innocent indigenous Marma villagers have been abducted by Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) terrorists known as Bawm Party in Paindu Union of Ruma Upazila under Bandarban District and released after severe beating.
The two victim villagers are – 1) Mongnak Marma (42), son of Kaching Marma, Village- Molpi Para, Paindu Union and 2) Mongbasing Marma (36), son of Shoukyau Marma, Village-same.
According to local sources, a group of Bawm Party armed terrorists came to Molpi Para village yesterday night (April 17) and abducted Mongnak Marma and Mongbasing Marma from their respective houses and took them to an unknown location around the same village. After that, the said two villagers were detained overnight and beaten and released today (April 18).
