Hill Voice, 11 February 2022, Rangamati: It has been alleged that an innocent Jumma farmer has been abducted by army-backed Mog Party armed terrorists from Karigorh Para of Raikhali Union in Kaptai Upazila of Rangamati.
The abductee was identified as Thowaiching Marma (47), son of Mongsagya Marma. He is a farmer by profession and a resident of Kalamaishya Mukh Para (Kanaiya Para) of Raikhali Union.
According to local sources, Thursday (February 10) was the market day of Karigorh Para Bazaar. At 10:30 am on that day, four armed members led by collector Aungsinue Marma and Pranta Ghosh of Mog Party abducted Thowaiching Marma from Karigorh Para of Ward No. 4 of Raikhali Union.
After the abduction, Mog Party terrorists reportedly took Thowaiching Marma to Bangalhaiya Bazaar. As of this report writing, the terrorists have not released him. Family members and relatives are reportedly worried and afraid about the safety of Thowaiching Marma.
