Hill Voice, 6 March 2021, Rangamati: An innocent Jumma youth from Jibatali village of Baghaichhari union in Baghaichhari upazila under Rangamati hill district has been allegedly beaten and injured by army-backed reformist terrorists. The victim was identified as Olin Chakma (20), son of Samiran Chakma.
According to local sources, on March 4, 2021 at around 5:00 pm, a group of reformist terrorists led by Juddha Chakma (35) inhumanely beat Olin Chakma at a place called Babupara in Baghaichhari Sadar. At one stage of the beating, Olin Chakma fainted. The terrorists then handed over Olin Chakma to his parents in senseless condition. However, it was later learnt that Olin Chakma regained consciousness.
It is unknown why the Reformist terrorists beat Olin Chakma.
