Hill Voice, December 29, 2025, Khagrachhari: It has been reported that army operation began at 4:00 AM today, Monday (December 29), in Logang, Chengi, Pujgang and Panchari Sadar unions of Panchari Upazila of Khagrachari Hill district.

Panic prevails among the public in Tarabanya, Batyapara and Raj Kumar Para, Jubanaksha Para, Petyapara, Tabido Para and Haladhar Para villages within these four unions due to the army operation.

Reports of house-to-house searches in Jubanaksha Para and other villages have been received.

It has been reported that a group of army personnel entered Tarabanya, Raj Kumar Para, and Batyapara in four vehicles.

Furthermore, it has been reported that at 6:00 AM, another group of army personnel, in eight vehicles, split into two groups and entered Tarabanya and Haladhar Para.

According to reliable sources, a total of approximately 150-200 army personnel in 12 vehicles are currently conducting operation in the four unions of Panchari.
