Hill Voice, 30 December 2025, Khagrachari: The army operation continues in four unions of Panchari Upazila in Khagrachari district.
The army operation, led by Major Rifat of the Panchari sub-zone, has been ongoing since 6:30 AM today, Tuesday (December 30), in Panchari Upazila.
Today, approximately 150-200 army personnel have launched the operation in areas including Machachara, Bharatbarsha Para, Rupasen Para, Dudhukchara, Dewan Para, Madhuranjan Para and Dan Chandra Bari in Logang Union, and Haralyachari, Ugudochari, Matuli Para, Natun Mogpara and Bhagyapara in Chengi Union under Panchari Upazila.
It has been reported that this operation has caused extreme panic among the local residents.
The army operation reportedly began at 4:00 AM yesterday, Monday (December 29), in the Logang, Chengi, Pujgang, and Panchari Sadar unions of Panchari Upazila in the Khagrachari Hill District.
