Hill Voice, 13 March 2026, Khagrachari: It has been alleged that a Jumma woman was beaten and threatened by anti-CHT Accord UPDF terrorists (Prasit group) in Babuchara Union of Dighinala Upazila of Khagrachari district.

Local sources reported that the incident took place in DP Para of Babuchara Union at around 7 pm the day after yesterday (March 11).

The victim’s name is Nabina Chakma (25), daughter of late Arun Kumar Chakma, village-DP Para, Babuchara.

It is learnt that an armed group led by UPDF terrorist group’s post Commander Amar Chakma, Chief Collector Rubel Chakma and Nayan Chakma came to Nabina Chakma’s house at that time and beat Nabina Chakma with slaps and punches.

Furthermore, the terrorists threatened that if Nabina Chakma maintained contact with her brother, Tanak Chakma, they would not allow her or her mother, Indradevi Chakma, to remain in the area. They further warned that, if this condition should be violated, the UPDF would do whatever they pleased.

It is worth noting that Nabina Chakma’s brother, Tanak Chakma, is known to be a supporter of the CHT Accord.
