Hill Voice, 12 February 2026, Khagrachhari: More three villagers were abducted by UPDF (Prasit) armed terrorists from the Shilchari area of Barmachari in Lakshmichari upazila under Khagrachari district on Wednesday (11 February) at 6:20 pm just before the election day.
The abducted individuals are Chaithoi U Marma, U Thoai Aung Marma and Areshe Marma.
On the other hand, it is also known that a villager named Chaihlamong Marma, a resident of Danti Para, a supporter of Samiran Dewan, was abducted by UPDF armed terrorists from the Kutukchari Private Primary School polling centre in the same union at 9 am.
It is learnt that their whereabouts have not been found as of the writing of this report.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, on Saturday (February 7), at 9 pm, a villager named Himel Chakma Jubakke was abducted by armed terrorists of UPDF (Prasit) from his house in Machyachara Para of Logang Union. Even after 6 days of the abduction, there is still no information about where and how he is being kept.
According to sources, the UPDF (Prasit) group committed this heinous act of kidnapping to force the villagers to vote with the horse symbol in the 13th National Parliament elections and to create panic and fear among them.
