Hill Voice, 4 August 2025, Bandarban: Three Jummas have been arrested by the army of Nilgri Camp under the control of Bandarban Sadar Zone from Naikkong Para of Bolipara Union of Thanchi Upazila. The incident took place on Sunday (August 3) morning.

The arrested were identified as- 1. Momong Sing Marma (28), s/o Manghlaching Marma, village: Naraigri, Chandraghona, Kaptai, Rangamati district; 2. Wangsai Marma (28), s/o Mong Wai Sai Marma, village: Daksu Para, Thanchi and 3. Namangsing Marma (25), s/o Uchaprue Marma, village: Bolibazar, Thanchi.

It is learnt that the army planted 1 shotgun and 05 rounds of bullets during the arrest. It was not known at the time of writing whether any charges were filed against them after their arrest and whether they were handed over to the police station.
